@ROAMROAM JL Extended Capacity Fuel Tank: 4.25 more gallons more than stock (JLU 4 door) on the main tank and another 20.75 gallons with an auxiliary tank.
Can you give an insight on how the gas tanks work on the JL? How many fuel pickups are there? Where is the fuel pickup located? Is there a low point in the gas tank to prevent sloshing? Is there a smaller "reserve" tank inside the tank to make sure fuel pump is always lubricated regardless of sloshing? I'm curious because I've always wondered about parking or going up/down a steep incline on low tank of gas. Some fuel systems are ingeniously designed so that fuel picks up regardless of the vehicle's incline to prevent stalling out.
By looking at the elongated shape of the tank, common sense tells me that it would be very affected by inclines, which are situations wranglers will often invariably find themselves in.
