Hello everyone-

So, after having read myself into total confusion I have come to this combination and I am wondering if everyone agrees that it will work on my no lift Rhonda (Sahara JLU). I am not going to do any wild offroading although driving on dirt roads and crossing water and such are in the future but no rock climbing as per the videos I have watched.

So with that in mind, I am looking at:

Rims: ION Wheels, Style 171, Matte Black, 17x9 ET: 0
Tires: 305/70-17

This is a 33.9" diameter wheels and as I mentioned above, it's the stock height-no lift.

So, will this work without any issues? If so, what issues am I looking at (other than the speedometer being off a few miles/hour).

Any input, insight, advice is most welcome. TIA

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Tires will be outside the fenders a couple inches but other than that should be ok. If you want a fit closer to the fender look for offsets in the +15 to +18 range.

Yes, the wheels will protrude about 3"... What are the potential problems if any?

Not a problem if that's the fit you're wanting.

Nice rig!

Thanks for the pictures. They give me a better idea as to what to expect if I go with the setup above. I am going to consider the shorter tires. Thank you again!!

I don't have any pics yet (since my Jeep is still in Toledo, lol) but I won't be lifting my 2 door JL Sport. I ended up with 17x8.5 +10 AX194 Ravine wheels and 295/70/17 Milestar Patagonia tires, will be a similar wheel fit as Uhdinators JL above, but my tires are 10mm narrower and 1/2" taller. Those 305/70s would be about a 1/2" taller than mine and about an inch taller than Uhdinators, so you might want a 1" leveling kit for them but ???
Anyone running the Milestar Patagonia M/T tire?
