I just installed these Rigid Side shooters with Mopar brackets. I like the mopar brackets. Sharp lines and looks like I can maybe add more items like a mirror to it in the future.
Install was fairly easy. Rigid supplies you with a switch and a relay. Because I used the aux switches in my JL I didn’t need them so I cut the wires so the red and black wires that come out of the lamps are plugged directly into the Aux 3 wire near the battery box and a ground on the fender. I did splice in the in-line fuse, crimped and heat tubed.
It was easy to route them in the housing as shown in the photos. I did unbolt the washer fluid tank and moved it for better access.
Tested them out and they work great! I’ve never been big on LED lightning as I like to keep the classic Jeep look, but I’m surprised I went so long without auxiliary lighting. Well worth it to me.
