this is heading the same model as tesla, apple etc to create a subscription model for all services [at a higher price for even simpler things] and void any warranty if repaired by a thirdparty mechanic [in future, if not stopped].
if you have done basic maintenance at your mechanic vs dealer, the cost is high.
