Trying to figure out what is better other than price

JB0899 comes with the RLT600 Leg Kit
JB0896 comes with RCL6 Leg Kit

I really can't see which one is better

Any thoughts
Thank you,
Bradley

It all depends on your needs. If you need the quick disconnect ability go with RLT600. If you want a lower profile with the aded locks, go with the RCL6.

I like the locking capability
It looks like both lock, is the RCL6 a better locking system?

Thank you very much for responding

The RCL6 is just a locking cover that provides access to the bolt which holds the leg to the roof mount. The RCL6 isn't a "quick disconnect", but its only one bolt per leg and a lower profile. With a 10mm wrench you could have it off in a few minutes.

Thank you very much
You guys have cleared my confusion
RCL6 it will be. I like the low profile idea as well
And I always have tools with me, so removal will not be an issue

Thank you again for participating in my thread :)

Keep in mind that with the lower profile one, it's very difficult to put your hand under to tighten any bolts (e.g RTT)

Good point but shouldn't be a problem. Mainly need for Kayaks. No Tents, we have the Motorhome for that :) Plus wifey is super tiny hands

I've had quite a bit of experience with Rhino Rack on my JK. I got quite familiar with their line.

RLT600s are great if you think you will remove the rack from time to time. Makes super quick work of it and re-installation is easy. You can easily reach under the rack for strapping things down, but you're adding 5-6inches of height (can't remember the exact stack up).

RLC6 are low profile so this might make the difference getting into your garage. How low it is, is a negative and positive. Obviously being lower is good, but it is so low it can be tight reaching under it to strap something down or just to clean under it. I have Griots "mop" on a stick for washing vehicles which is good for cleaning, but getting under it to dry you have to get creative or leave use a leaf blower.
