Hey Everyone,

I have almost 300 miles on the Rubi now and I have noticed two things that "could" be completely normal. Asking about your experiences. First, The Jeep feels like the caster angle is almost 0. Return to center on the wheel is almost non-existent on city streets.

Also, when I am coasting under 30 MPH and in 4th gear or lower I can hear some drivetrain whine. Its louder if I am going downhill and the coast side of the driveline is loaded.

Opinions? I'm not worried about either one but would like to know if they are "normal".

Oh and BTW.... My steering tracks better than any other Jeep I have every owned or driven and my welds look great. ;)

30 mph is kind of slow to be in fourth gear if your tranny is manual.

I've noticed a slow return to center a well, usually at 15mph or less. Not a big deal to me either. Regarding drivetrain noise same observation but figured it was normal for 4WD system. Coming from a Subaru, I've had similar gear whine with AWD.

YUP, mine tracks straight now also and I think the "CENTER" return isn't so much casterless, but this electro/hydraulic steering box that only uses elec-power with the steering wheel input--

I think with mileage breakin, this steering /return will get better, I've only got 48 miles on mine now, so I'm patient !

No BIGGEE--
