So I have a 2022 with 4200 miles on it and 35s. No issues so far and have loved driving it. Yesterday as I was getting on the freeway I was able to get up to around 60mph but then merging I noticed a clicking noise when I stepped on the gas and I wasn’t getting any power. Luckily I was able to get to the shoulder and immediately turned it off. I tried to turn it back on but it wouldn’t fire up. The engine was turning over but it wasn’t getting gas. I still had full electrical use and no sign of any liquids leaking. I didn’t get a chance to check fuses. Towed it to a dealership and now waiting 1-2 days till they can diagnose the problem. I’m thinking fuel pump or maybe electrical connected to fuel pump. Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks

Haven't seen in personally and hoping my reply doesn't jinx me. I'd be worried about the fuel pump, the mopar site still doesn't show a recall for it on mine though.

The recall is for the Gen2 diesels, not ours. I have a friend who has a 2016 Ram with the gen2 and there are no parts yet to take care of them. Not sure if the Gen2 adn Gen3 Ecodiesels have the same fuel pump. I would hope not.

They all have some version of the CP4 pump, on another thread someone stated it would likely make it to us as well. Some faster then others unfortunately....

I thought I read on the forum the pumps were not upgraded but I hope I’m wrong. It’s under warranty which is something.

I haven't had this quite, but I have had total loss of power while on the freeway or accelerating onto the freeway a few times. Happened just 10 days ago outside Moab, merging onto the highway near Thompson Springs the Jeep would only get to about 50 mph, then dropped from there with my foot to the floor. Pulled over and let it sit for a few minutes before restarting and everything seemed normal.

the recall is out; i got it in the mail for my 2021 recently.
no, they do not have a solution yet.

my CP4 pump ate itself at 4100 miles, spewing metallic shards. the entire fuel system needed to be replaced (under warranty) except for the tank, which goes through a cleaning process.

it took months for the parts to come in and get the J**p back.

the mechanic made a point of mentioning how much he hated the job.
coincidentally(?) i recently began to experience a High Idle issue that they can’t resolve. they’ve been trying to point to fuel issues (though nobody can explain why this would make it idle *high*), though the current mechanic has alluded to it being related to the pump (“it’s on Recall, right?”).

frankly i’m suspicious it had something to do with the work done during the HPFP transplant, but i’m still working through eliminating their excuses.

There isn't one for her 2021 JLURD at this time. Fingers crossed. Though it seems that the Z58 safety campaign for Ecodiesels but it is not the Z46 campaign for the Gen 2 Ecodiesel CP4 pumps.

Unfortunately I waited for an hour for the tow truck and still wouldn’t turn over

When yours went was there clicking then no acceleration. There wasn’t any liquids leaking or any loud noises just a quiet and rapid click that only happened while I was actively pressing the gas pedal.
