Replacement pinion bearing for the Dana 44

This is the inner pinion-bearing for a Dana 44. I would like to substitute with a better bearing if there is one available. This is what you get with the Dana 44 master rebuild kit. I will be changing out my gears in the near future so I’m looking for a better option.
For those that don’t realize by looking at the picture the brown stuff is some sort of plastic.

I’m on the same boat though I won’t be doing the gear job until late next year. Would love to get this bearing replaced with a tapered roller bearing. Let us know if you find a good replacement.

Dynatrac does not like these at all .there is a video from 3 years ago . from Waya life .

Call a local bearing house and ask them to cross it to a timken bearing, any decent bearing shop should have no problem doing that.
