1260 miles MetalCloak front bumper.
While it looks good, the directions weren’t great. No torques listed and they used those god awful hex button head bolts. Not sure why they couldn’t include regular socket head bolts like they show in their pictures.

I can’t help myself installed the fox shocks ifp for no lift, and the Rancho control arm skids.

The passenger side skid was such a pain in the ass i had to hit it hard multiple times with a 3 lb hammer to get it to line up. The rear shocks are a pain.

Do yourself a favor use a ratchet tie down and get it to compress the shock the line the holes up rather than fumbling around with a pry bar. Of course if you put your lift on jack stands it’s easier to line up by just using a floor jack under the axle. I learned the hard way... work smarter not harder.

Installed the dynomax muffler delete pipe. Don’t fool yourself it’s much louder under acceleration. Like I don’t want to keep it on loud, and I’ve had two exhaust systems on my f-150.

I have a AFE Mach hi tuck exhaust coming it’s supposedly should quiet it down and gain horses.

I have the same feedback regarding the dynomax muffler delete. I'm going to uninstall it and put the stock muffler back on. I really like to have an exhaust system that is lower profile, but not insanely loud (I actually prefer the stock exhaust sound). Can you let me know how the AFE sounds? I had an AFE axle back on my JKU and loved it.

I think it would be easy but I had the dealer ship do it for $119 Bc of the body bolts. I actually preassembled it so basically just left the dealership technicians the body bolts and pinch seam bolts Bc they need lining up.

Decided to step up to 37” to help combat difficult obstacles. Still stock gearing, stock axles, on the Dynatrac lift. Very little fromt upper fender rubbing at full flex. I already have an AAL chop bracket just waiting on the bulb out fix wiring harness. Mounted these on method mr106 beadlock wheels. Please note you must use method beadlock ring spacers for anything bigger than a 35” tire. They are an extra $40 per wheel, and had I known that they were needed i probably would have gone with a different brand of wheel. I do love the method bronze. FYI beadlock are a beeotch to install. Took me 1.5 hr per wheel to install. I should have just got the mr701 bead grip tire. I definitely regret doing beadlock. I’m not that hardcore and even if I was I think bead grips can handle it.

The cooper stt pro 37x12.50r17 are awesome. Total weight is now 116 lb per wheel tire combo vs the 102 lb for the 35” with mr312 method wheel. D rated tire which feels better than the e rated 315s. I’ll admit I didn’t care too much for the harsher feeling of the e rated tire but after hundreds of off-road miles I can tell they make a big difference in regards to comfort.

It’s an ok tire carrier I should have mentioned that backspacing for the tire carrier adjustment is only good for 4.75” and the oem rubber bumper/bumpstop on the tailgate isn’t enough for a 3.5” backspacing wheel. So I had to fashion up a rubber bumper bumpstop extension.

Also taking the mounting studs back out was a bitch the included nuts used to install the studs stripped and I had to find others of course they are metric fine thread pitched so the typical Home Depot doesn’t carry them.

Once I got that squared away wasn’t a problem. That’s one feedback issue I don’t like about the design is that if you change tire heights in the future it becomes a pain on the tire carrier.

Oh also a $99 1 ton shop crane from harbor freight is the best thing in the world to help with lifting and holding the tire carrier steady. Saved my back given my wheel tire combo now weighs 116 lb

Oooo. I like the crane for the wheel/tire. Now I just need to find a way to store one...

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been thinking this carrier as it seems to have the adjustability for my setup and ease of changing the spare tire compared to others. Now if I could figure how to mount a license plate on there as well.
