I agree. If I had to guess, the reasoning behind it is probably safety and maximum visibility. I have a feeling this is one of those things that will look better in person and in action while driving.

I think it depends on the colour. For a bright colour the body colour fenders look very cheesy and look like every other vehicle out there with one colour throughout; adding the black portions at the edges, not only gives it some definition, but also likely protects it from trail scars.

I agree on all that, but for Christ's sake, at least offer the option for one piece monotone Fenders with the LED Strip embedded.

JL fenders in no way should be a downgrade from JK fenders.

I think standard should be one piece monotone, and these two tone charcoal lip strip fenders, should be bundled with some other more rugged off road options.

Whether parked or going 100Mph... these lip strip fenders look CHEAP AF.
