is it possible to remove the side and back windows only, but leave the top on? I used to do this with my Jeep JK

that looks like a lot of work - to have to remove the bars and such - there's no way to just take the side windows off?

you have to take the back window out to take the side windows off. That't literally it tho, no bars just the 3 windows removed. 5 minutes tops.

Granted Lisa, somebody's "work" is somebody else's "no problem" but it's not that hard to get the windows off IMHO, and easier than getting them back on, which IMHO isn't much work either, and much easier than on the JK, as things are now zipper free.

In fairness though, there is a learning curve, albeit a quick one.

Arguably, I imagine you could just remove the side windows, but reinstalling them will still involve you interfacing them with the back window you haven't removed. The 3 work as a unit to, along with some hardware, stabilize each other when fully and properly installed.

The bars you are talking about are actually holding up the roof in this picture. As others have said, just slide out the windows and you are done. (well, find a very safe place to put them so they don't get dorked up)

I rotate between safari, soft all on, and top flipped down a few times a week. Easy enough to take back/sides off or on to safari mode in 5 mins before I leave for work.

Once you do it a few times it is really fast...I mean I assumed they had a trained guy in the video and it would be pretty easy, but it really is as advertised.

I was worried I would not want to hastle, but have enjoyed it. And I love safari mode the best as well.

EDIT: Quadratech has some good videos of it.

It’s really easy to take all the windows out. It takes a little while to learn the trick of putting them back in but once you’ve mastered it, they go in really fast as well
Safari mode is my favorite if it’s sunny outside and I put the top down when it’s cloudy or at night. I can go from top down to all buttoned up on less than 5 minutes and that includes a trip inside the house to retrieve the windows.

I am down to about 55 seconds and that is making sure to lay down the windows so not to scratch. It is easier and faster when it is 95 deg outside.

Taking windows out is easy.... reinstalling has be a challenge for me. I had trouble lining up the windows and channels, especially at night or when I'm rushing. Bad eyesight doesn’t help. I’ve since added some yellow paint (gloss Testors enamel) to the ends as a guide. We’ll see if this helps.
