The Rubi sticker is that big because it has to match the set of balls the new Rubi has. And this is coming from a Sahara owner.

I only took off the Wrangler stickers on the side of my Rubicon, everything else is staying.

use a blow (hair) dryer to remove the decals. or let it sit out in the sun for an hour or two. they should peel right off.

i do not recommend using a heat gun. you have to be super super careful with it. i did that and caused a little damage to the paint on one of my cars. it doesnt take much to melt that paint. the blow dryer will not get hot enough.

i removed some very stubborn stripes off a mustang. we ended up using a 3M adhesive remover wheel. kinda pricey but works great and cannot harm your paint.

i have a granite wrangler. im thinking of doing all the decals and emblems in black. i considered the red outlines/highlights but they just seem to stick out so much. depending on how much you have done of course.

Decals removed and Jeep Emblem plasti dipped. Toyed with the idea for as long as I’ve had it and finally just did it bc I figured could easily buy the decals from Mopar pretty cheap. Subtle change but adds to the “stealth” look
Did you remove the jeep emblem to plasti dip? If not what did you use to mask? Is it simply adhesive sticking it on there? If so how did you remove it?

So I bought a firecracker JLU, only chrome on it the Jeep letters behind the front wheels. I ordered matte black letters off ebay. Since they are 4 separate letters I'm looking for advice on getting them spaced out right and straight. My only thought is to trace around them with a pencil on the red paint before removing the old ones and hope the lead is viable.

Weren't they shipped on a piece of sticky clear plastic? Any time I have bought them in the past, that is how they arrived.

No but I can lay a strip of packing tape over the front of the letters and apply as one piece. Thanks for idea.
