I understand about the rock but what about that busted Honda Civic not paying attention?

Would insurance cover any damage in the event of an accident if they knew the bumper was removed?
Yeah that was my thought too. What happens if you're in an accident.

Photos will be taken and your insurance company will turn the other cheek... That’s what lol

Don’t get me wrong. It does look cool and would appear to be very beneficial off-road but I couldn’t do it.

Now if it’s just a toy and you trailer it everywhere or get it airdropped in then hell yeah!

I see redneck bumpers all the time here in farm country. The ones that look like 2"x8" pieces of wood. Of course they are on 20 year old trucks. So the original probably rusted away:giggle:

Yeah and they probably aren’t carrying full coverage haha In that point yeah, who cares.

Now on a 30-50k brand new vehicle with full coverage, not happening here haha

If I ever rear ended someone that took their bumper off I’d get out quicker than you could blink your eyes and take a photo.

That way my insurance company is only having to shell out half the clams. Rate would still go up but not nearly as much I’d imagine.

Of course they would. That’s not even a thought. That’s like saying the insurance company won’t cover you because you put big tires on your Jeep and you rolled it because it’s center of gravity has changed. Let’s not get stupid.

It should be a thought for you, just a thought if nothing else.
It’s really not, but I get where you’re going. There are many more things we would need to fret about if we continued that thought process. A lack of a rear bumper wouldn’t be one of them.

Yeah my sensors are gone. I have a camera back there. And mirrors. I’m all good. Lol
It’s also a real Jeep so I don’t have to back up as much.......:bandit::CWL:

This is what I put on

If you notice, the side aligns with the fender flares

I love the bumper but had a few issues that I addressed in another post
That’s a nice looking bumper. But even in that picture you can see where the factory bumper pushed up into the body. Maybe even that bumper. Who knows.
