Remove Tow Hitch - 2025 Willys

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know of a video or write up on how to remove the Mopar tow hitch from the Wrangler? I don’t need it, so I figured I remove it for weight and clearance.

I tried to remove it, but it was stuck somewhere that I couldn’t see/find. So I bolted it back up.

Gotta be something I can’t see. Probably be easier if I had a lift.

You can make that hitch very useful. I am not sure if your Jeep has a backup camera... but if you do it is never bright enough to see clearly to back up a night. Go to Baja Designs and get a S1 Universal Hitch Light Kit and thank me later. 3,000 plus lumens for a backup light. Turn night into day when you back up...
