Remote Start and Honk, Honk

Anyone know how to disable honk honk when using remote start?

i found mine under settings in the radio, can't remember what folder its in

Its in settings. I disabled mine too but can't remember what header it's under. You'll find it.

In the settings menu under Doors and Locks. And while you're in that section you might consider turning off the horn chirp when you use the remote to lock your doors. (A pet gripe of mine.)

I may be in the minority, but I like the honk honk!
When I remote start on cold mornings, hearing it lets me know that things are working as expected.
Maybe it's 'coz I'm special!

If you're sleeping in the back on a cold morning, remote start is a nice feature that let's you start without having to get out of bed and find a way to press the brake pedal. Kinda wish it would not turn on cold air though, but rather let you default to the temp setting. And locking the doors doesn't help. I know, that's not what is was designed for. Just wishin'

I leave for work at 330am. Honk honk is not wanted by me or neighbors. Feature is now turned off.

And the LEDs are bright enough to see from far away and I prefer not to have honk honk at people when locking in public.

Idea behind the honking is to let someone know, who may be close by the vehicle, it’s about to start. Safety thing. I’m surprised Jeep lets you turn it off.

I've had door lock honks disabled since purchase. Remote start still enabled for the confirmation it started plus locating in parking lots.
