If we want to be pedantic, cool. But what I said IS accurate. There are 8 model years of the JL out there.
As a pedantic engineer, I do have to point out that 2018 is the "0" year. While there are 8 model years, it hasn't been a full 8 calendar years of JL production. ;)

Really pal? Use our big word to try and show that we are less dumb than what we are? So you still have the 2018? Your profile says a 2021? I am calling bs. You didn’t drive it like that for 8 years. You embellished and I called you out. Take the hit.
Um, he didn't claim to have had a 2018 JL.

I don't think anyone has.

My 8 years were with a JK 3.6.

Ohh got confused. It was you who said you drove it for 8 years. Figured we wouldnt be comparing JKs to JLs. Thats night and day and not a fair comparison.

It really isn't. There wasn't any major change to the 3.6 besides incremental upgrades and fixes.

I'm sorry I assumed you understood that.

We're 4 months away, and I'm feeling generous. So 7.75 = 8
It doesnt matter. And the first JLs werent delivered until early 2018 if we are getting technical.

Regardless, and back to the topic at hand, people are looking for first hand experience with the JL. Not the JK. Not a different vehicle. And not based on theory. Thats my point

Same engine. Way different with everything else. That is absurd to say the other changes they made doesnt make a difference

I gave you first hand experience from a 5.13s on 37s.

Nothing I have said misled anyone.

The 2.0 and the 3.6 are different.

The 8spd and the manual are different.

And god forbid the diesel guys read this, it'll be anarchy.

We were talking about the 3.6. Do you need a cheat sheet to keep up with the conversation?

You keep asserting that but you're wrong. The lack of low end torque affects the manual transmission in the JK exactly the same way it does the JL. Again, are you failing to keep up with the context of the conversation? Do you want me to make up that cheat sheet to help you?

Ok. Were the transmissions different? Does that make a difference?
Not when I'm talking about the manual transmissions. Do try and follow along.

You are an idiot. You cannot think a regear on a jk and a jl is going to have the same impact in the exact same way.
Yep. We're done here.
