"They" being the battery Ken? https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Energize...652369&hash=item3b1e47ad43:g:EbsAAOSwF8Fb4vOwDon't know for sure, but I would agree with marek on the low battery. Your dealer may replace it for free but otherwise I don't recommend buying a new one from the dealer. I had mine replaced under warranty and was told they were $55. I think you could amazon them for a lot less. Do replace it however. If you have proximity locks, you could lock the inside the vehicle. Voice of experience unfortunately.
The key fob is constantly transmitting letting the vehicle know that the key is there. Completely normal on any vehicle that has a push button start. There is a red LED on the key that comes on when you push a button. Last night when driving around I noticed it would blink everyone once in a while while just laying the the cupholder. Any idea why?
Does it on my wife's fob for her Subaru as well.Makes sense - although I for one didn't realize it would flash the LED every time. Seems like a waste of battery power, however little it may be.
