Hey everyone I am looking for opinions on watertight hitch haulers for a trip.
Pelicans are amazing but super expensive

FYI, I saw these at Home Depot today. Supposedly IP67 rated and not a bad price either. Much more practical for hauling gear. It has a gasket on the lid and a bunch of latches around it. Might need a Pelican for a expensive piece of equipment, but maybe not clothes!

How water tight does it need to be? I bet some heavy duty totes do a reasonable job.

Also, harbor freight sells these I've always wanted to try https://www.harborfreight.com/5800-weatherproof-protective-rolling-carry-on-case-x-large-64819.html
...another HF suggestion?....

(can collapse somewhat when not in use...)

edit: tend to stick items in a closed and clean/new garbage bag, inside this linked bag for extra water tight assurance

I bought the same Plano box for camping gear, and I added a neoprene strip to the lid for additional waterproofing. It's great to be able to lock the lid to keep the honest people honest, but I wish I had ordered extra keyed-alike master locks. I now have 3 boxes and a yeti so my keychain is a bit of a circus on trips.
