Trying to help my dad sell his Turtleback offroad trailer and wondering where a guy lists something like this at?

I don't know? A few things come to mind.

1. eBay
2. Craigslist
3. OfferUp
4. AutoTrader
5. This Forum's Market Place
6. Other Overlanding Forum's Market Place
7. Google Search "Sell My Trailer"
8. Contact Local RV Dealers for a Trade-In
9. Park it with a For Sale Sign on a Busy Street
10. Ask Your Personal or Local Wheeling Community if Anyone is Interested

That should get you started!

List it in the Market place here. Also list it on Expedition Portal and Overland Bound forums, they both have a for sale section.

I listed and sold my trailer on Facebook, took about a month but just be prepared for people with low ball offers.

Facebook Marketplace. I sold my old YJ on there in a week after a month of nothing from other places. But yeah beware of lowball offers, they’re everywhere

I would definitely use the local FB Marketplace but I think your chances of selling the unit here and overlanding focused sites as listed above is much better.

Be sure to post the listing when you do. Curious to see condition and asking price when it’s up. Cheers.

Will do... My 75 year old dad towed it to death valley behind his jeep last winter and found it too difficult for him to close the tent part so he bought a slide in truck camper. Turtleback has sat in his garage ever since.

I am buying a getaway and not an expedition but I would be interested to follow the ad to see what you get for it used. Just to see what the depreciation is on these things.

I caught myself looking at one of those myself yesterday, they've certainly gotten a hell of a lot nicer.
