Surseky Jeep is doing 4% with Tread Lightly. Not sure how far you are from Goshen, but that would be somewhere to look.

Long Island is a no despite some members getting 5% below invoice. I believe there were 2 dealers that offered that, but the sales rep for both no longer work there! Go figure.

I'm waiting for a few more to respond before I place an order. Finally going through with trading in my '18!

If you financed recently, what APR did you receive?

Across the economy, interest rates are close to zero , so I'm curious what you've experienced in your own financing offers. The best I've seen so far was 2.04% APR.

I'd like to give a shout out to Leon Travis at Criswell Jeep. I ordered my JLUR on 06/12/2020 and it arrived at Criswell's on 08/25/2020. However, my wife and I were in the middle of purchasing a new home and couldn't purchase it until we made settlement on 9/11. I explained this to Leon and he took care of us. So, we finally picked up our 2021 on 9/18. I can't thank Leon enough! He's always been a straight shooter with me and has always given me updates on both of our purchases without being prompted. I ordered my 2021 Willys yesterday from Suresky in Goshen, NY. (thanks for the suggestion, wranglerguyman — I definitely recommend Suresky for anyone in the NY area.) — Sarge green, heritage tan seats. I was happy with the price of 4.2% under invoice. I can bring my own financing, as well.

Some things I learned, from this forum and in general, that might be helpful for other newbies:

— Tread Lightly is a great way to get the Affiliate Rewards Pricing, but a lot of dealers don't understand it. I found it easier to just tell them you're part of the Affiliate Rewards and don't get into Tread Lightly. Also, the discount is applied at delivery, so if you join Tread Lightly right after you place your order, you'll still make the 30-day waiting period.

— Really know your numbers, using the pricing spreadsheet. I told my sales guy I wanted $1800 under invoice, because I knew that was at least 4%. — It seemed clearer to him that way. He started getting into the "one percent under" and I told him the percent didn't matter to me, I just wanted this set amount off the invoice price. (Don't even entertain the MSRP price. Just ignore it.)

— After test driving and looking around at my local dealership and at the Jeep site, I knew exactly what I wanted. That helped a lot when making the deal. I went into the Suresky dealership in person (no appointment), said here's exactly what I want, at this price, and if you agree, I'll order it right now. It was a very quick, unexpected sale, so they didn't mind making less profit.

— I understand shopping for the best price and it can be done, but you need to weigh price vs convenience. My goal was to buy nearby and get a decent price. No doubt some of the other places listed in this thread have even better deals, but they would have been further away. And, though I would have loved to have bought from the dealership closest to me, they declined my offer. (They had quoted me $2,300 more than what I ended up paying.)

— Being nice is good, but being nice and prepared is even better.

I received preliminary info from both Criswell and Koons. Based on one email it appears Koons is at 7% under invoice and Criswell 5. Once i fully commit i'll see hat their best price is.I assume the sales contract is completed with the deposit at order correct?

I want to thank this Forum for saving me money on a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 2 door I just ordered from Rob Trachtman at Tuttle Click in Irvine, California.
I got 4% below invoice without haggling. Rob was a pleasure to talk to and a senior sale type person.

All local dealers in Northern California was not willing to negotiate anywhere near invoice. I've shopped at 6 dealers and by chance, I happened to find this forum's list of recommended dealers.

I got a quote from Kent at Nampa, ID and it was a better deal but California 50 state emission requirement would have me smog the new car, submit a request for out of state registration that requires a physical inspection of the VIN and 50 state emission label. The DMV office near me is still closed and many are on limited opening times. Its just not worth the hassle for me.

Now its just a 6-8 week wait.
