I am interested in getting a good quality cover for when I have the hard top off and to protect the paint my lot is tree lined lots of sap pollen etc. Would expect a quality cover to be lined but it is unclear what to look for in a quality cover. Any advice is appreciated.

So I have been looking for a cover myself. I have a 2021 Rubicon and used to park under a tree for some shade at work but we moved to a new building and no more shade. I live in FLA and don't like the fact that it bakes in the sun all day. Yeah, it's a Jeep, I know, but this is just me.

I bought a cheap 3-layer cover on Amazon for my old JK and never used it but recently started using it for the JL. It works but it is big bulky and hard to manage and store. I have a Coverking Stormproof cover for my 2016 Challenger hellcat and it's a great cover - lightweight, not bulky, lasts for years in the sun. Problem is for the JL, it's like $500+.

I found a Redrock cover for $89 on ET and it seems lighter weight than the one I have now. May give it a try...

Vehicle needs to be clean when you put the cover on or it will act like sandpaper

How’d the cover work out
So far so good. This is a decent cover for the price. Fits my JLU with 37" spare fairly well.

I will tell you though it's a bit of a PITA to put on and take off. I'm lifted with 37s and I keep an 18" folding stool to help get up. That and standing on the steps. There is a technique to taking covers off - fold up the sides and roll from the front to the back. Then you put it on in reverse order. Sounds easy but on a big Jeep it takes some time.

Takes me 2 minutes to put on/take off my Challenger. Takes at least 5 to do the same with the Jeep.
