Hey There! This summer I am taking a 24 day trip through Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and more. I'm looking for recommendations for camping locations! Whether it be BLM sites that folks loved or anywhere off-road really. I don't mind where they are, but would love any ideas for places to go. Also, if you have day-time activity recommendations haha. I'll be visiting during the middle of July. Thanks Y'all!

Here is a link to dispersed camping opportunities in the national forests:

Most of the Colorado state and national parks campgrounds are booked well in advance. If you don't have reservations by now you are not likely to find anything. Even the commercial campgrounds are likely to be booked solid in July.

Colorado is in a deep drought condition. July is a scorcher month on the eastern plains (the eastern half of the state is basically an extension of Kansas). Many, most of the reservoirs that are part of the state parks and SWAs (state wildlife areas) on the plains are dried up completely or have very low water levels.

Up in the northwest, we like Dinosaur National Monument (the Gates of Ladore campground is on the north side). Also there's Flaming Gorge that overlaps Wyoming, and Utah if you are coming down from Yellowstone/Grand Tetons. Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge is between Jackson and Flaming Gorge, just north of Green River, Wyoming, and can offer some insane eagle viewing. Up just north of Jackson, take a look at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, which is just across from the National Elk Refuge.

If you don't have reservations for camping in Yellowstone, take a look at the dispersed camping in Bridger-Teton National Forest.
