Just checked my VIN and thankfully no recall issued on my model JL

No recalls but My jeep got possesed this morning..

I have a 1/18 build date and nothing shows up for my VIN.

Got a JL ordered, estimated shipping date was June 5 past that now. Have tried the VIN but keeps coming back FCA doesn't recognize it. I cut and pasted it right off the invoice so to make sure all 17 numbers are correct,get the samething on NHTSA site also.

ALL JL Wranglers are in the cruise control recall, according to the build date info.

Took the Jeep in for a bunch of little stuff for them to look at and fix.

After the service guy comes back from putting in the service module, no problems with the Tazer either, he says you have a right rear backup light working intermittently and a TTB or something like that for Steering Sector Shaft Welds we will fix.

Nice. Asked about the steering as it does have ply and he said it could be related, just not much info right now.

System works I guess.

They have it for 14 days until I get back.

Going to pay a visit to my local dealer tomorrow (not the one I purchased from) and see what this recall is all about. They were supposed to have somebody contact me about the crooked RUBICON sticker on the hood, but nobody called, so I will have a word with them about that as well.

I'm going in on Friday to have the dealership check out my loose steering and hopefully they'll take care of the recall issue at the same time as it popped up on my Mopar site.
