Interesting. Earlier today NHTSA had 0 recalls & 5 complaints. Now it’s showing the 1 recall your artical cites & 6 complaints. I’m surprised that so many are taking the time to post here about their issues but don’t voice their complaints at NHTSA.

I am way more concerned about the track bar and the other weird steering issue.

The article states that this recall is for the 2018 JK not the JL. We may see additional recalls for the JL that address the welding issues many have seen.

It appears that they updated the article from yesterday... Was the JL frame supplier the same as the JK? If so, it seems to have been a rough couple of months for them...

Here is the recall from Jeep. States recall repair is in the works, this is very normal from them.
