Hey what’s up everyone. So I’ve always liked the halo rack that rebel off road offered. I pulled the trigger and ended up ordering it last December. They helped mount some custom brackets so I could run 6 LP6’s on top of it. I think it looks awesome! I ordered a custom harness that links up all 6 high beams to one switch. The harness should be here early
well I ended up mounting it on my top and it was pretty easy to do. The hardest part was putting it back on the Jeep. It was now front heavy and I needed help from two other tall guys to get it back on there.
after installing the rack I wanted to get some important recovery gear up there so I could have it in case of an emergency. I added a set of mishimoto traction boards and two pelican cases to carry straps, D rings, and other random tools that I could use. I’ll take everything off when I don’t need them but I’ll be going to King of the Hammers next week so I’ll keep them on for now. I’m honestly surprised that there’s no added wind noise from the rack and am extremely happy about that!
