When you installed larger wheels and tires did you have to do anything special to relocate the rear view camera?

35's on 17x8.5 wheels, no issues with carrier or camera.
Camera is easily relocated if it does become an issue with 37+ tires.

Minor issues with 33s on 17x8.5 for me ...

The bumper was in view of the camera with the stock wheels. My wheels with 4.4" BS are now in the edge of the picture ... blocking the view of the bumper. No significant loss to the field of vision.

The plastic hood/cap that went over the camera doesn't fit with my wheels. If I want it on, I will need to shave 1/8" - 1/4" from the back edge of it so that it will lock into place.

Since the camera protrudes through the center of the tire, you will need to store the center cap of the wheel somewhere other than on the wheel.

My plastic hood fit but it was tight. I have 4.4 BS also.
I am relocating my camera to the 3rd brake light when I install it inside the wheel. I don't think I'll ever use the camera but I do want it to work.

I'm wondering if it will fit with the AEV wheels.

I'm going to grind the backing down a bit so that it fits. Just driving it today with light snow, the camera was distorted due to snow melt. It snowed in the past few days as well with no effect on the camera. The hood must've shielded it.

The rear view camera works absolutely fine with 35" tires on stock wheels. I replaced my wheels to Fuel Vapor 17" with 35 x 12.5 x 17 tires and lower view is obstructed (20%) by rim and tire. It's the width of the wheel which makes the difference - original 7.5 to new 9.0

The offset on my new rims caused the cover on the camera to not fit. I left the cover off and I cut out the center on the new cap to accommodate the backup camera. Works fine maybe shows a little more of the rim.

No, it mounts the same...deeper dish to look out of, but works the same (17X9 wheels).
