Rear seat recline kits...

Anyone with a rear seat recline kits installed, any difference in function with kids car seats?

Yes they are awesome. You only need one kit. I bought 2 thinking that I needed to do each seat.


if you have weather tech rear mats there is no cutting or bending of mat.

But with Jeep ones you will have to bend or cut Matt. Not the carpet.

kids still kick though I make mine take off their shoes.

I bought a set of these about seven months ago to help with car seats thinking that they reclined the back of the seat only. Saw how they worked and just threw them on the shelf. I guess I'll install them!

I put them on the JKU for the grandkids. I have not really noticed the JLU needing them. It seems to be already reclined somewhat, at least compared to the JKU

Yeah the whole seat bottom included is reclined I believe...on the list of jeep stuff...

I have the molar mats, why must the rest mats be cut or bent if I may ask...???

My buddy has a MOAB with Jeep mopar mats. The base of the spacers hits the mat every so slightly, but enough to have to make some sort of adjustment.

he opted to pass up the free kit I was offering him so he wouldn’t have the issue.

Does anyone have before and after pictures of the seats folded? I thought I heard that they don’t lay as flat.
