Rear right speaker stopped working

Hope someone can guide/assist me. My rear-right speaker just stopped working. Removed the radio(7”) and traced the wire and took an old speaker and hooked up to the back of the harness and I get no sound. Still at the back of the radio where the harness connects: I then jumped a wire from the front speakers to the rear right pins and the rear right speaker works; therefore proves no broken wire. Took to the dealership and they found a code B140C:11 “Rear-right audio speaker output-circuit short to ground base”. Any ideas before I let the dealer mess with it and drain my account further?
