Rear fender guards?

Can anyone tell me if there has been a protective cover made for the rear fender flares? I have a clear bra on it but it doesn’t protect against big stones. It would be nice if there was a black molded cover that would attach to just the front part.

The latest models come with a clear film on the front of the rear fenders. I wonder what year that became standard.

Johnny, I have an early 2018 (build Jan 3 2018) and the clear film is on the front of the rear fenders. I have a Rubicon. My wife has a sahara and I will check that model when she gets home. Could it be model related?

I just reread Scott's question and it appears that he does have the clear film on his. It's just not giving him as much protection as he wants. Sorry for the confusion.

I agree, the clear film is thin and is somewhat bubbled. After two years it’s starting to look a little discolored and isn’t laying flat. It would be great if someone made a guard made out of similar material as a mud flap. Kind of like a shin guard.

I had mine custom applied to cover 1/2 the fender. And yes Charlie that’s exactly what I was talking about. Like a shin guard .
