Yes, I had it regeared only & the dealership told me to kick rocks...
going with ARB lockers soon...

Terrible grinding noise coming from the rear diff while the gearing is holding back only... not so evident when Iā€™m on the gas.
Drained the diff, pulled the cover & nothing but bearing metal

Sounds like a problem from the re-gear, not the factory. Did you expect them to warranty it?

I did... I thought I had a 36-36,000 warranty & also upgraded to a 5 year, 75,000 mile warranty.
When I brought it in he said if I had an ase certified mechanic to perform the work, it will be covered... it was not.
Jeep refused to work on it even if I paid for it out of pocket.

The carrier bearings had to be pulled and either reinstalled (if they reused the bearings they likely damaged them) or replaced by whoever did your gears. I would take it up with them as they are the ones responsible for the failure. Once you start pulling/replacing parts you can't expect it to be covered by the warranty. Who installed the gears?

An off road center called ā€œa guy & a garageā€ in Knoxville... Stephen Fox.
He has been in business a number of years but could not hang on due to Covid. The way the service manager talked at Rockytop Chrysler Jeep Dodge, if it wasnā€™t genuine Mopar parts & that dealership didnā€™t install it, it wouldnā€™t be covered.
At this point, I doubt they would honor anything that goes wrong with my Jeep.
I asked the manager if all lifted Jeeps on the road had Mopar lifts. (hundred of thousands of them donā€™t) he replied the ones with a factory warranty does.

The only reason I got pissed was I took off work to take it down there & they wouldnā€™t fix it no matter if it was under warranty or not. Hell, I wouldā€™ve gladly paid them to fix it & they flat out refused. šŸ¤Ø

If you modify a manufactured part you void the responsibility of manufacturer in most folks mind. Itā€™s a ownership of actions concept thats hard for some to accept.

Obviously this thread got derailed.

But to the OP head over to the tech subsections, seems to be a long thread on the Dana 44 with lsd being trashed at low mileage. Clearly a defect, under fill or something going on... Not fixed for 21 my but they are replacing parts with newer part numbers in dec/Jan.

It happened with my friend, looks like it's common. Have you ever try online casino? I used to bplay poker a lot but since I tried blackjack I fell in love with this game. I've read some blackjack strategies here https://blackjack-strategy.org/ and now I can win good money. People know only basic rules mostly, but if you learn a lot you can be successful in it.
