Rear Drive Shaft

It's about time for the rear drive shaft on my '21 392 to be replaced. It turns out that Dana Spicer makes one that has a non-serviceable socket in the double cardan cage....so no flat zerk to service! Has anyone installed on of these? Any feedback?

Why does your drive shaft need replacing? Is it spitting grease or something?

I'd go with the non-serviceable. The only way to properly inspect and service a double cardigan joint is to remove it.

Cardigans are sweaters. What should be done for routine maintenance on a driveshaft besides adding grease to the flat and regular zerks?

It has been hitting the metal cloak gas tank skid plate...plus it has a small dent...

To check for easy and smooth movement through a full range of motion. Good catch on the sweater spelling. I’ll try do do better.
