All installed then?
After seeing the video, I think I am going to pass on this one and probably try to sell the kit locally.

I've got the full cover CanvasBack setup coming and I think it will be better for my cargo area co-pilot (Black Lab).

I am going to order the spiderweb shade though and the video was nice to see.

That canvas would be better for the copilot and you can wash mud out easier with more protection for the Jeep carpeted interior. On the Spiderweb shade install you can install all of the ā€œnubbinsā€ without removing anything. Then once you remove the hardtop you can unscrew the four windshield bolts, but it isn’t necessary to lay the entire windshield down if you don’t want to—hence, it’s not necessary to remove the windshield wipers for this install. If you lean the windshield forward, supporting it with one hand, you can attach the two bungee hooks on one side and then lean it back against the roll cage and do the same for the other side. Replace the bolts and secure the windshield. Then proceed to use a strap to install the two rear bungees and then finish off each side. Done.

Counted my grommet pack today I only to find it was one short. Had only 9/10 for the ones that go on back of seat. Anyone else have this problem. Anyone know how to order more?

Yes, but only one female ring. I left one out on th inside grommet for the top on the driver side folding flap. I’d order a replacement if possible.

Can you one of you guys take a video showing us exactly how/when it is popping off? Maybe that will help us understand what is different with your install vs our install.
I figured I out. I installed the grommets/locks on the gap hider backwards. I reversed them all last week, but ended up breaking one. They still pop off, but not as easily. I probably going to install some type of semi-permanent solution or just remove them. It’s annoying whenever I need to fold down the seats. I find that folding down the 60 side and then the 40 side works better.

If you did the same thing...just a warning. They are hard to take off and break easily. Take your time. I’m not even sure if this is something you can order separately.

Anyone have a picture showing proper orientation of grommets on gap hider?

I'm having same issue with it popping off only on gap hider section Andy I'm suspecting I may have the grommets installed backwards, the instructions really suck.

What is the trick to pop them off without breaking?

Wondering if you were able to find where to order the grommets?

I wish the factory just had the backseat install ready with the grommets to snap in the cargo mats. I don’t want to cut up my brand new upholstery. When I went to return the kit, UPS wanted $88.00 for shipping. Stuck w rest mopsr cargo matsthat I’m unwilling to install. Very unhappy w the mopar rear cargo mat system.

For the grommets that " snap " in the on the back seat area.. the floor part that comes 1/4 up the seat to cover the gap. So a problem I have that it constantly coming undone or unsnapped, it never stays "in place." Very inferior design. Has anyone had the same problem and is the solution to GLUE ???

I installed the one for cloth seats and had no problems. Everything fits like it should. But the gap protector and bracket came with my kit so I did not have to cut holes in the gap protector. It was a fairly easy install but you have to make sure the clips are pushed into the seat good. You have to cut all the carpeting out of the way in the back of the seats So the clips will snap in good!
