I installed the one for cloth seats and had no problems. Everything fits like it should. But the gap protector and bracket came with my kit so I did not have to cut holes in the gap protector. It was a fairly easy install but you have to make sure the clips are pushed into the seat good. You have to cut all the carpeting out of the way in the back of the seats So the clips will snap in good!

Thank you. I am wondering though. Just to be clear I am referring to the 4 door unlimited. Do you fold the back seat down? The tension on the snap wiggled them loose when we do this ... it seems to happen with putting the seat up and down.

Yes I have a four-door unlimited Rubicon, and I fold the seats up and down and I have not had any problems. Like I said those clips have to be snapped and good. When their snapped in good you can hear them pop in place. The carpet has to be cut away for them to fit properly. Hope you get it worked out.

Hello, I am also in the same situation with the grommets installed backwards. Any luck getting finding replacement parts if they get broken when removing?

No. Since I only have one it hasn’t been an issue. It would be nice if they sold the plastic grommets in a 3pk or something.
