How about Jeep put a decent coating on the frame. My 2020 Wrangler already has surface rust on most welds. I’ve been cleaning and covering with spray paint, but cmon. My jeep is also garage kept in souther California. Otherwise, I love my Jeep.

I am in the same boat. Which spray do you recommend? Is it a covering rust conversion agent or just straight up spray paint. Thanks.

Rubicon will come with 35s by the time the Bronco makes it to the showroom, killing a number of Bronco bragging rights.

I agree and have a feeling that there will be plenty of leaks that come out causing potential Bronco buyers to hit the brakes

You should not have to do that on a $50K vehicle. Maybe now since there is some competition, Jeep will get their head out of their ass and wise up to what the customer wants.

Base content- with a hard top, the Wrangler costs $300 more, but the Bronco has LED headlights, 3" bigger radio with car-play, and... Air Conditioning! Power windows and locks and keyless entry are standard at that price, too. You're at $35k for the Wrangler to have what the base bronco comes with.

I use Rustoleum Rust Reformer and Sealer. 10 bucks for a can, I think, at Wally world. My JK´s frame looks new after 13 years of spraying this stuff on small spots every October. Great stuff and I think they improved it last year, too. Seals better. This claims to convert the rust. You could then spray over it, like it is a primer, but I haven´t done that. It holds up well on its own.

That would be nice. But the Wrangler appears to be continuing the trend of low injury claims. Still, I would have liked having them. Oh well. That ship has sailed. I´m keeping this one a long, long time.
