I have the 2.7 turbo in my wife’s Edge. I would love that motor in my Jeep. I enjoy moderate rock crawling....and the Wrangler is clearly superior for that activity. Every choice is a compromise....I took a First Edition for a test ride today - on road only. It's got some cool features but overall I felt it was mehhhhh in looks and gimmickry stuff.
Power was good, better than any of the current JL options.
Koons in Annapolis has one.
You must be referring to the sport, not the big bronco.I took a First Edition for a test ride today - on road only. It's got some cool features but overall I felt it was mehhhhh in looks and gimmickry stuff.

Nope, big bronco. You must be referring to the sport, not the big bronco.
Interesting as my comment to the sales guy was that the Bronco felt like a Flex with a lift kit.I have the 2.7 turbo in my wife’s Edge. I would love that motor in my Jeep. I enjoy moderate rock crawling....and the Wrangler is clearly superior for that activity. Every choice is a compromise....
How were you able to pull that off?Nope, big bronco.
Just put some good aftermarket trackbars in it and it'll be a lot nicer in that regard.Independent suspension would be really nice, no more getting thrown side to side from daily potholes.
It's not an event. It is sitting out front for all to see.How were you able to pull that off?
I am going to come out and say it...this sounds over the top that you were able to test drive not only a full size Bronco, but yet a first edition whereas only 7K are being made.
Any pics of this event?
Awesome that you got to drive it. Will you provide more feedback? How did it drive and how was the acceleration? How was the driver seat position...sit any lower? In the JL, my head was touching the roll bar with the seat all the way down...felt dangerous if ever in an accident. It's not an event. It is sitting out front for all to see.
I suspect it is taken home nightly by the owner as he did the same with a Lincoln Navigator prior to them being widely available.
Wow - really? That's... like, really big news lol I haven't heard of anyone getting a chance to actually test drive a big Bronco, not even the big outlets. Some people got to go for ride alongs a few months ago on an "offroad" course that Ford prepared, but I haven't heard of anyone getting a chance like this.Nope, big bronco.
