2 door Sport with std Michelin's 20 mpg but I climb 2000 feet back up the mountain every time I go out. Would expect 22- 23 on the flat.

With everything off (top/doors/bumper ends), my JL Rubicon gets about 14 MPG doing 80 MPH. I keep the KO2s at the recommended 37psi (cold) but that may have to change.

Real question to ask each of you is do you know any eco driving skills? I’m expecting I can eek out 30 plus with proper hyper mixing techniques

510 miles, 16.7 mpg mostly city. Live on a hill. Freedom panels off (mostly) but back still on (need to make room for top). AC on, temp in 80s-90s. I’m not driving aggressive.
JLR automatic, no mods.

3,300 miles. 18 with mostly stop and go city driving. Took a road trip this weekend and averaged 20.5 with 300 miles of highway driving.

6sp Rubi, and I’m a lead foot.

Our jeep is rated 18/23-20. Have been testing because I'm seeing a trend toward 16mpg according to the computer. That is terrible for a vehicle claiming 18/23. I don't do particularly intense city driving or stop and go rush hour so I should be well above the average. These MPG ratings are going to be optimal ratings tho, what you'd get under perfect conditions and most efficient driving.

My drive is 1/2 highway and 1/2 (moderate) city driving by distance, or around 1/3 highway and 2/3 city by time. So it's a good mix that is close to the EPA estimates of 45% / 55%. If I optimize my driving and do every eco-friendly technique... Avoid full stops (and accelerating from a stop), coast up to lights, only accelerate enough to get to the next light, accelerate gentle, keep the max speed down and so on... I can reset my stats in my garage, and eek out a 20.x MPG by the time I get to work. I can get it to come in just over 20. That's reassuring. At least it's hitting the number claimed on my window sticker.

On the way to work I can get around 20.5.
On the way home I can get around 20.1.

That tells me the ride home is a little less optimizable. Which makes sense. There is more traffic on the road at 5pm than 7am. That's an annoying way to drive tho, since you have to give up everything fun about driving a new car. As soon as I go back to regular driving... Give it a little time and the computer gravitates back down to 16mpg. That means for the times I'm getting over 20mpg on the highway, I must be getting 12mpg when just tooling around.

None of my driving is inner-city or particularly hard. When I stop, I can watch my mpg drop .1 at a time as I sit there. Thus I see the value of ESS, it's an absolute must if you stop for more than a few seconds -- you have to kill the engine or your mileage will drift down.

I’m feeling better. Today did highway driving. For 20 miles got 23.8 mpg. Then as it turned into stop n go city driving my mileage dropped to 20.8 for a total of 29 miles.
Top on, no a/c, windows down, =< 70mph
