Nice. Please post up on your impressions and install when you get them.

I have them on LJ and will definitely get them for my JL.

Newby here...I'm curious why folks with a d30 front axle who want to add strength for 35" or 37" tires would spend $1200+ labor on this to beef up their front axle when this doesnt include lockers, brakes or gearing? Why not go to a d44 or super 44?

FYI...Torq Masters Industries who recently came out with the wrangler jl d30 torq locker sent me this note this week.

We have a wrangler jl CAD delete chromoly axle kit coming out mid summer 2019, this will be a very good upgrade for the JL's. Retail will be $700. Ships fully assembled with larger Spicer 870 x u-joints in stalled by our professionals. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

What else would be required besides the one piece shafts to rid ones self of the CAD. Tazer do it?

The tazer JL definitely can delete the fad as well as a host of other items. We are currently testing rear locker in 2 hi and both lockers available in 4hi

Why does the one piece version have those humps where the FAD was deleted?

Also, can you still use the RCV axle seals with the one piece version?

That’s where the fad fork slides bad and forth so the ecu still thinks it’s active. You can also get a fad block off plate and run a Tazer JL and delete the fad signal completely.

Just found this on RCV’s site about the Seals.

Note: These tube seals do not fit over the inner splines of the JL RCV Axle Sets. However, it is possible to disengage the inner shafts from the CV joints and slide the tube seals on from the other end. If you are purchasing the axles at the same time as the seals, let us know and we can ship the axle set with the tube seals already on the shafts.

I wonder how easily the seals pull out of the tube housing? If they don't pull out easily, removing the axles to do work could prove difficult.

Hi Kevin,

Has the locker control update been released by the Tazer folks yet? I know they were suggesting they'd release it. You testing for them? Please cover in a video when you do. Thx!
