Just installed the Rough Country 2.5" lift on my JLUR with stock wheels/tires. I'm planning on getting 35s this week but for the guys who want to see the stock wheel setup, here are some pics.

Install wasn't too bad. Took me about 7 hours total and I was doing it alone. Several interruptions / lunch break too. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Nice job! You might as well go to 37’s. You’ll want to later. I promise.
You won’t notice them. Except how it looks.

Thanks! 37s are awesome but I’m worried about other components that need to be beefed up to run those! One day I’d like to run them.

No need to worry about that. Everything that needed upgraded, got it. In the front the only real worry was the C’s bending and the housing. That’s done. The rest would be axle shafts front and rear. Those will be fine unless you have a heavy foot and get maximum traction all at once.

Even then I say leave it. Axle shafts are cheap. Always leave the cheapest, weak link. Because you can never Bullitt proof it all without deep pockets. Even then, I have seen many rigs break out here.

If your going to break it on 37’s chances are you’ll do the same on 35’s. Go for it.

how is the ride and handling? did you add any kind of steering stabilizer? Rough country has a dual stabilizer now wasnt sure if that would be needed

The ride is great so far, I honestly haven't noticed a difference other than the added height. I am getting 35s put on tomorrow and an alignment. I've only put about 50 miles on it since installing the lift but so far so good.

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered this kit with the RC adjustable track bar and will also be doing the install on my own. Looks real good on yours. Please post pics with the 35s when you can!

Hows the ride with 35's? Plan on doing any off roading?
Yeah, there's a local club that does a lot of guided rides on weekends. I'm planning on going on a ride with them and possibly joining to have unlimited access to their property. I'm in south LA so terrain is hard to find and my days of mud riding are over for the most part. I don't miss the hours of cleanup and detailing.
