Hi all
On my JLUR with premium softop down, I have noticed on bumpy rides/ streets and off-road the two rear plastic soft top frame pieces around the rear door frame sitting on the jeep frame right next to the rear seat on both sides don’t hold tight enough as they are only sitting in two holes and not screwed into the body
This causes the frame to wobble into the holes which provided rattle sound on bumpy road.
I could squeeze something underneath to stop the rattle sound but was wondering if anyone else have noticed that annoying sound.
Any feedback appr costs.

Yes! Had the same problem but only on one side. I ended up disassembling it and wedged a small piece of foam inside the hole and it no longer rattles.

Exactly, thanks for your feedback. I might attempt to wedge it without disassembling it at this stage.

I thought I might have done something wrong while assembling the soft top.
THanks again.

I noticed that when I reverse, the right back side of the plastic frame rattles a bit. Might be the same problem. It started happening a couple weeks ago but could be before since I usually have the radio on. Quite annoying thou

Extremely annoying! Bad design or simply bad calculations on their part. I have a gap under both of mine that is quite noticeable. At a minimum, there should have been some kind of connection /snap where they go together...not just a hole that a plastic piece loosely fits in.

I just installed my soft top and noticed those were kind of loose. I haven’t driven enough to see if makes noise. I was worried I tightened the gasket to much but after hearing others stories I think it’s a design flaw.

It only rattles on me when the rear windows were out.

That's the way mine is too. The side windows keep it tighter in there

Same here. Only on one side. I will be taking it back to dealership to adjust or correct. I will also reach out to Jeep Cares to document.

I fixed this today. Had the rattle on both sides, wrapped the little tabs that go in the body holes with the fluffy side of Velcro tape.

Much less movement and no rattle.
