I recently bought a 2019 four door Jeep Wrangler unlimited. After 2 weeks I tried putting it in 4H. After doing so and driving it around for about 15 minutes on a grass road.l, I started hearing some rattling around the transfer case. The next day it got worse. Despite the rattling noise the Jeep felt fine and the seemed to be running normaly. My questions are. First, did I do something wrong? I shifted into 4H with the Jeep on park and the brake applied. Second, what are the odds pf the dealer pulling a stunt saying that I voided the warranty myself? I took it into the dealer and as of now they don't know what is the problem. They told me by phone that they are dissasembling the trasnmission to figure out what happened. If did somwthing I woupd like to know. This is my first Jeep Ive owned and my first 4WD vehicle.
