Just curious, is there any difference between a (35x12.5/r17) and a (LT315/70R17)? I was planning on installing 35x12.5s on my rubi, but found a good deal on raptor take offs (LT315/70R17 113/110S Load Range: C). Thanks!

Biggest difference is you’ll only find 35x12.50R17 in a load range E for the KO2’s. You may be able to find a D rated in another tire, but I haven’t seen one. The JL/JLU just isn’t heavy enough for those stiff tires.

BFG ko2 35x12.50r17

E rated
34.5" tall
Approx 12.1" wide on 9" wheel
66.34 pounds

BFG ko2 315x70r17

C rated
34.4" tall
Approx 12.5" wide on 9" wheel
64.4 pounds

315 is .1 inch shorter, .4 inches wider, and 2 pounds lighter. I'd go that route as the tire is C rated.

Thanks for all the information, actually very helpful! I’m going with the 315s
