Got my height adjustable passenger seat in now.

Took longer than I though. Like 4+ hours.
Probably due to checking how and where to open up the seat cover to not damage.
And getting more small screws that was not on the exploded parts views.

Still working on putting all pictures and Description together. Coming soon

Here is a starter of what parts are needed
Remember you do this modification on your own risk.

One of the main issues was how to buy all the parts.
My local dealer was msrp +20% so I stopped discussion.
3 online dealers did try but all came back with they are not allowed to get some parts as it is export only from Jeep.

Then I found a smaller dealer in Sedalia , MO who sell Postal Wranglers. He could help with the missing parts. Did cost MSRP but he could do it and very reasonable shipping cost.

The hard to get parts are
68276604AJ frame front seat $ 574.00
68382498AA bracket $ 9.35
68382501AB bracket $ 4.85
68282870ac lumbar support $ 97.45. If I do all the work why not add lumbar?

The end letters may differ my seat that came was a AH instead of AJ but I think this is more some supplier or revision code jeep uses.

The other parts I could get from online mopar dealers
Quantity Product Stock Number Price EA

1 COVER. SEAT RECLINER. 6DJ42TX7AD $9.19
1 SHIELD. SEAT RECLINER. 6KE88TX7AE $11.06
1 HANDLE. Lumbar. 6BN91TX7AA $4.29
7 PUSH PIN. Export. 68004430AA $0.77. Plastic push pin tend to break when removed
1 CAP. Screw Cover. 6CK86TX7AA $1.93
1 SCREW. Trim. Export, Mexico. 05072741AA $1.21
1 HANDLE. SEAT ADJUSTER. 6BN68TX7AB $25.62

Then some screws the exploded parts views did not identify any parts for but that is a must to have
I luckily got an around the corner hardware store that have quality assortments of screws
2. Screw M5 x 10mm. For the height adjust handle.
1 screw M6 x 12mm. For lumbar support. Can be longer
2 screw #10 wood style. 1/2inch long. To fasten lumbar adjuster
1 screw #8-32 machine type with thread pressing function. 3/4 inch long. Also for lumbar adjuster

Reused other screws
You will get some screws left over in the end as some of the new parts mounts with less screws.
But I do recommend that the screws fastening seat to floor is replaced as they are high strength type with locking compound on them
6512936AA. 4 pcs. They cost around $1. They are safety components and if over torqued they are no good any longer.
I do not know the exact torque but from size and assuming 10.9 material around 30-35NM
M. (25 lb-ft)

All screws and bolts are metric or Torx or star head.
Forgot sizes though

Soon a bunch of pictures and descriptions will come.

Both me and my wife like the new adjustments in height and also the lumbar support.
Worth the money and time spent
