Anyone come up with a clever way to mount radar detector without sticking it to windshield. Would love the look of a blendmount, but that will not fit my Jeep.

I know you didnt want it stuck to the glass but this is how I have my Escort max 360. works great and keeps it up out of the way and it was less than 10 bucks on ebay.

I stopped using a radar detector in favor of the crowd-sourced WAZE police speed trap warnings. Have you tried that? At least on my normal driving routes its proven infallible.

Im looking for a solution to mount my R7 also. The angle of the windshield makes it hard to mount using stock mount it comes with.

Are radar detectors still relevant in the age of Lidar and pulsed/instant-on radar guns?

This isnt a flame, I am asking cause I really don't know.

If they are still useful then I need one. I start rowing through the gears in my brick and thoughts of speed limits begin to escape my mind.....its gotten me in trouble a couple times with the local majestrates. I don't know how you 392 guys stay out of jail.

I guess there really was a market for that 392 huh.

As long as it has a V8 in it. It doesnt matter if it is a brick. it'll sell like hotcakes :CWL:
