Found this in the back of my JL after routing some coax.

I have no idea what it is, or where it came from, butguessing its a trim piece.

Anyone have a clue? :D

Could that be part of the factory jack? Like an isolator or such.

Looks to me like one of the clips that hold the rear quarter panel pieces on. They clip on a post in the quarter panel.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
That is a retainer clip for a post. These are used to hold trim pieces in place. They are found on the plastic trim in the back of the Jeep that hold the sub in place. They are used in other places also, but if you pull the big piece of trim off that the sub is mounted in, you will see them easily.

I have to Agree with Ted here, Although our diagram is fuzzy I believe it to be part# 68125578AA used in the rear quarter trim section on the right side.

Actuaiiy, I think it is #7 in the drawing you referenced. I broke one taking my quarter panel off. If you donā€™t have a rattle in one of your quarter panels, I wouldnā€™t worry about it.
#5 and #7 look the same...might be my old eyes. :)

Iā€™m embarrassed to say Iā€™m not sure how to remove the right rear interior trim piece on my 2020 two door JL.

I may have strong armed it causing the clip to pop out. Couldnā€™t find any videos.
