There is no option for, I’ve had too much sun in my life already(old). Every time I go to the dermatologist he cuts a couple more pieces off me. I grew up in central Florida and live in SoCal.
There’s no option for, I don’t like my hair blown.

I need half doors so I have somewhere to rest my arm. I don't like tube doors.

I like hanging my arm out the window and resting it on the sill - it's a comfortable driving position.

I have an autistic child. Doors off is a big no no. I can’t even do tube doors because none of them have child locks.

Back in my USMC days, I drove M151s (OK, not a "true" Jeep) w/o doors or tops. These days, I prefer to be "inside" my vehicle instead of "on" it.

For you youngsters...

Every Sergeant Major and 1st Sergeant I've ever known would have burst an aneurysm over this photo, lol. Do Rags, no skivvie shirts, sloppy sleeve rolls and a boonie cover sticking out of the cargo pocket....

My youngest is 5 and while i have read plenty of people with kids her age and younger take their doors off, we still carry too much crap in the Jeep with blankets, toys and crap that would probably fly out in no time.

However, i could still take off the front doors and use tubes but my biggest problem right now is storage. We have a 2-car garage but 1 bay is packed with kids toys, lawn equipment, Jeep roof, storage shelf, etc so there is no room to store them in the garage.

The poll didn't allow the selection of multiple reasons, which is probably what most of us would have chosen. Four of the listed reasons apply to me right now, as do two of the other options folks suggested that were not listed.

It's now February in Oregon, it's cold, and we're about to get snow, so it's not doors-off season anymore, but I'm looking forward to spring and summer. I saw a new dolly that makes one-person hard top removal and storage easy, so I may give it a shot this summer. (I sure miss the simplicity of my TJ. Removing the top and half-doors was a fifteen minute job, so we drove it naked all the time.) (The jeep was naked, not me... nobody wants to see that. )

More than once I got to experience the ire of a top sergeant. ;)
Happened all of the time with me. "Shit rolls down hill" and I was right in the middle of the hill lol.

well at least when it was something you did yourself you knew it was coming. I got blindsided several times when it was one of my Marines getting caught doing something by the SgtMaj.
