Can anyone take a quick look between the console and the driver and/or passenger seat and see if there is an area that has no carpet covering it like this picture?

I took my carpet out almost a month ago and was putting it back in and this is what I see. If anything (mostly french fries) fell between the seats and console, it'd go into this uncovered area and eventually under the carpet. I can't find any other carpet pieces that fit this area. I need a sanity check. TIA
