Hey everybody,
Have any of y’all noticed just how bad the stock wiper blades seem?
Has anybody replaced them and seen an improvement? Maybe I’ve been spoiled by decent aerodynamics my whole life, but these seem pretty subpar.

Go figure! Thanks for your recommendation. I Will try my best to get the remaining value out of the stocks - assuming there was any to begin with

We had a 2018 cherokee before this wrangler, the factory wipers on that were terrible as well. replaced with 3 different and very expensive blade sets before getting the $6 cheapos at walmart, those were the best honestly. Swapped the blades on the wrangler at 18k miles with the same walmart $6 blades and they work great.

probably will have to replace them every year or so, but for that price who cares...

Mine are terrible as well. Leave behind as much water as they wipe off. Will check out the Bosch set.

clay bar then wax the windshield. No wipers needed. or you could always use the quicker stuff Rain-X spray stuff. for what ever reason i cannot think of the name of the product but there is a conditioner for the wiper blades that should be done once a month or so... that tends to help too.

I dont even have the wipers on my 76 pickup anymore after learning about window waxing

I replaced the worn out stock blades with the BOSCH blades as recommended by several members here. They are fantastic.

I like the Rain-X Hybrid. Cheaper than blades and don't get packed up with ice in the winter. About $10 each at Walmart.

I agree that the stock blades are pretty weak.

Speaking of weak, I couldn't help myself, I bought the BFG KO2 blades:

Magical? No. Much better than stock? Yes.
