Probably a stupid question, but is it normal for a 2020 Sahara with tow hitch and electric plugs to NOT have accessory switches? They are Mopar, but “tow package” is not listed on the window sticker or build sheet. Should I assume it’s a dealer mod?

Yeah. If it’s not on the sticker, chances are the dealer simply bolted on a $100 hitch and wiring harness.

How much of this stuff do you have?

No idea on alternator amps, it has a 600 amp battery, has a seven AND four pin harness, no switches, has a Class II receiver.

That’s what I’m thinking, which is totally sufficient. My wife doesn’t need the switches; I was just curious. The dealership didn’t even point out the hitch to me when I bought it for her.

Jeff, what look did you give the dealer to "give" you this stuff

The AUX switches are a separate package that really don’t have anything to do with towing. The electrical connectors in the back are for lights and brakes. You will need an aftermarket brake controller to use trailer brakes. Even Gladiators with tow packages don’t come with brake controllers.

its also possiable that the factory bolted the tow package on the wrong jeep. in that case, you picked up some extras without having to py for it.
