I'm looking at the Quadratec aluminum full width rear bumper, does anyone have any experience with it? I had a Rugged Ridge XHD on my JKUR and really liked it but I was looking to shave some weight with my new bumper. I like the looks of both the RR and Quadratec but want something that can take an occasional hit on the trail.

I like it, I can't say how it'll hold up rock crawling. The trails I've been taking here in the Sitgreaves national forest aren't very rough. I like that it comes with the license plate holder. I used led bolts on top to light it up.

Thanks for responding. They are a good looking bumper, I just want to know if it will hold up to getting banged around on the trail a little. I prefer rock crawling and know that what ever I buy will get abused a little.

It is very well made 1/4" aluminum, I'm impressed with it. I think it's as well made as my Rock hard aluminum front bumper.

Great, thank you. I have their aluminum oil pan skid and am very happy with how sturdy it is.

Have you tried to PULL anything with the tow hooks? That would be my main concern, being that they are bolted on instead of welded.

I ended up going with Ironman 4x4's rear bumper, you might check them out, they look similar.

I'm looking at the Quadratec Brute Strength aluminum rear bumper, and curious what the issue is with the recover points. It's not like they're bolted onto the aluminum only. They bolt through the aluminum bumper to the frame, which would make them as strong as any other aftermarket bumper recovery points, I would think.

I can't speak for extreme rock crawling, but the recovery points are solid, through bolts to the frame, no worries there.

Kudos to Rival: Their rear bumper comes with the license plate relocation bracket kit and a 2" receiver hitch. You're getting a complete rear bumper installation kit at a very good price. 👍
