PW7 Bright White paint match

I installed the Teraflex alpha HD hinge and carrier last week. One of the adhesives that covers the bare metal on the tailgate door did not have adhesive so I stuck it between the hinge and door to avoid scratching. @TeraFlex sent me more of the covers, but I think they misunderstood and sent the wrong adhesive covers.

I also chipped the paint down to bare metal when I was lifting the tailgate (super small spot, smaller than an eraser).

I tried to order the PW7 paint from two different Mopar sources but they’ve both cancelled my order due to it being unavailable.

My questions are:
• do I need to paint the bare metal under the hinge to avoid corrosion?
• does anybody know an alternative to the Mopar paint that is a close match?

I just looked.. and see a couple of eBAY vendors selling Mopar PW7. Search eBAY using words Mopar PW7.

Don't leave the metal under there raw/unpainted. Paint that spot with PW7 or any other other color of automotive paint.
